On June 30 and July 4 and 5, graduation ceremonies were held for undergraduate and graduate students of the Higher School for Power Engineering, the Higher School for Electric Power Systems, the Higher School for Nuclear and Heat Power Engineering, and the Higher School for High Voltage Power Engineering of the Institute of Energy.

In gowns, surrounded by friends and family, the graduates of the higher schools arrived at the White Hall to receive their diplomas of higher education. Teachers and tutors were present at the ceremony and expressed their warm wishes to the graduates, reminding and quoting Rector Rudsky A.I.: "You are the children of Politech. The future specialists, engineers, graduate students, employees will always remain children for Politech, who once for the first time walked up the Main stairs, passed exams, studied and made mistakes, and most importantly - learned to apply their knowledge and experience for further success.

The graduates themselves also felt the start of a new chapter in their lives:
- The ceremonies were very solemn, but nevertheless the event was very warm, even in spite of all its seriousness. It was nice to hear the farewell words from the dean's office, there were some moments when tears came to our eyes. There was also a short summary of our  years at Polytech, we really experienced a lot together and at the end, I think that most of the guys have an incredible sense of gratitude to the university and a lot of great memories.

Among the alumni there were international students who studied in Russian and in English, breaking the language barrier over the years and gaining invaluable knowledge.

- We really tried to immerse ourselves in studying in Russian, although initially it seemed impossible. With the help of teachers and tutors, we managed not only to learn the everyday language but also to go deeper into the subjects in Russian. At the ceremony, we reminisced about our first steps and we are very grateful for the opportunity.

In the future, graduates have different paths ahead - some want to continue their education and research, some want to build a career in education, and some go on to work for energy companies. We hope that all the graduates  will be successful in their life goals and will remember our university with warmth.
